Our Mission

We are a church family, open and caring, providing an atmosphere of faith to grow in love and knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, as we serve him by serving others.

We are a mixture of ages, occupations, and points of view; we are long-time Brenhamites and more recent arrivals, life-long Presbyterians and people from other faith backgrounds. The one thing we all have in common is that we know we need Christ's grace and we try to live it. We haven't met you yet, but we think you might find what you are looking for when you meet us. There is a place for you, so join us one Sunday at 9:00 am or 11:00 am.

Announcements

Preaching Schedule

Dr. Hampton will be at a preaching conference in Atlanta May 14-19, and attending his daughter's graduation from Yale University May 20-26.  Rev. Callie Candee will be our guest preacher on May 20. Dr. Hampton will return to the pulpit for Pentecost Sunday May 27, and barring any emergencies, will be in the pulpit each Sunday in the months of June and July. 

Proposed Vision Document

Recently, Session approved A Vision for BPC as a study document for the coming weeks. During that time Dr. Hampton is making presentations to various groups. Printed copies of the Proposed Vision Document are available in the Blinn Room or you can download it here.

  • Youth Focus, Monday, May 14, 6:00-8:00 pm
  • Mobius with Megan, on Tuesdays, throughout the summer
  • Lock-in - Friday, June 1, 7:00 pm until Saturday, 8 am, June 2
  • Youth Night - Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00 pm, thoughout the summer at various churches. BPC hosts on June 6.
Pairs and Spares

Saturday, May 26, 6:00 pm. Progressive dinner: gather in the Fellowship Hall for appetizers, then to homes for dinner. RSVP to Susan Gray. See more in the Weekly Seeds of the Spirit.

Presbyterian Women Salad Luncheon

All members are invited to this annual event hosted by Presbyterian Women. Dr. Brent Hampton will present a slide show of the proposed Vision for Brenham Presbyterian Church.

Summer Sunday School

Sundays, June 3 - August 26, 10:00 am
Intergenerational program based on a curriculum, "Living Waters of the World,"  focusing on Bible stories and mission.

Family Vacation Bible School

Family Vacation Bible School will be July 23-26, 6:30-8:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Romans 15:5-6 - “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
